Mainly used to produce bromide, and also used as common analytical reagent, oxidant, absorbent of ethene and heavy hydrocarbon and bromizing agent for organic synthesis in the fields of pharmaceutical, pesticides, dyes, aromatizer, photographic material, extinguishant, mineral separation, metallurgy, tannage and water purifying, etc.
