L-IRON LACTATE is the iron salt of natural L (+) lactic acid, produced by biofermentation from grain starch. It is greenish white crystals or light greenpowder having a slight sweet metal smell. It is easily soluble in hot water, and practically insoluble in ethanol. The mouthfeel is good and there is little impurity, is a kind of high solubility and bioavailability iron fortifier.
