It is widely used as an efficient additive for PE compatible resin system to improve the processing properties and surface quality, such as better resin flow ability, mold filling & release, less extruder torque, lower coefficient of friction, greater mar and abrasion resistance. It is designed to be used as an additive in polyethylene compatible systems to impart benefits such as processing improvements and modification of surface characteristics. How to Use of SilibaseMB50-LDPE Silicone Masterbatch Based on LDPE: Addition levels between 0.5~5.0% are suggested. It can be used in classical melt blending process like Single / Twin screw extruders, injection molding. A physical blend with virgin polymer pellets is recommended. Masterbatches may be processed in the same way as the thermoplastic on which they are based. Enough masterbatch shall be mixed with the original polymer particles to provide the required siloxane level in the final product. Masterbatch can be added when mixing in single screw extruder or in the feed hopper during injection molding or extrusion. Package: 25KGS/bag, craft paper bag. Storage: Transport as non-hazardous chemical. Store in a cool, well ventilated place. Shelf Life: Original characteristics remain intact for 24 months from the production date, if kept in recommend storage.
